Diane Chambers Shearer
Diane is president and CEO of Resolve, Inc. Mediation Services, a full-service mediation corporation based in Gwinnett County, and she is a registered neutral with the State of Georgia. She has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and an M.A. in Family Sociology from Georgia State University. Diane has more than 200 hours of family mediation experience, both in the private and court-related sectors. She is author of Solo Parenting: Raising Strong & Happy Familes (Fairview Press, 1997) and authors "Successful Single Parenting," a monthly column that appears in several regional magazines around the country. She also publishes The Peaceful Co-Parent, a quarterly newsletter for divorced parents and their helping professionals. In addition, Diane is a single-parent consultant to Parents magazine in New York and is a certified "Active Parenting Today" instructor. Diane is a part-time staff member of Mountain Park United Methodist Church, where she helps coordinate family programs and mediates conflict in spiritual matters. She is a member of the Conflict Resolution Association, Family Mediator Association of Georgia, and Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia.
